Thanks for your reply,  yes I have that one but I can't find him in the 1790
census and I know he was in Carolina Colony in 1772. He mad application for
a land patent then. But there is very little information available on him
prior to 1772 and of course as I said he doesn't show on any census until
1800. I cannot find any information on his parents or his siblings.

 An Abraham Holsumbeck is listed residing in Edgefield, Sc in the 1800 SC
