We're probably related.Parents of Rebecca Moore are said to be John Moore & Penelope Johnson Moore; grparents:Matthew & Prudence Moore; Matthew's supposed to son of William and I found in some book at one time a Wm. Moore m. to Santaka Dixon(also spelled Santica) 1790; thaNorth-or-Southampton Co. Va.-our Matthew was b. 1790 Va.  Her mother's parents: Hardy & Rebecca Johnson; he b. 1741 Southampton Co. Va.; they m. Cumberland Co. Va.-please don't ask me what co. goes w/ what. 1806 is supposed to be Rebecca's death date. In 1835 Hardy died Cumberlsnd Co. Hardy's the son of Lucy Council and Hardy Johnson Sr. b. Southampton Co. (ca.1709-paper says);Lucy's parents Susannah(will 1754) & Hardy Council (will 1749) & born in 1678. On 10/7/1675 Isle of Wight Va. John Hardy made his will; he m. 1632 Olive Council Bedfordshire Eng. and they are parents of of Lucy Hardy who married Hodges Council-his will 1692 & the fa. of Hardy Council.
