This is our first posting to this list.  We are looking for information
From the City Directories for Columbia SC for the years 1907 through 1911.
We know that Herbert Spencer or Stanley EDWARDS, his wife Clara Elizabeth
Blanche HODGES and their daughter Virginia Marguerite EDWARDS lived in the
area during this time period.  Herbert was a bookkeeper/paymaster for
Gibbes Machinery in Columbia.  We have not been able to locate them in the
Census.  Virginia was Lorene's mother.  

First, are Columbia City Directories available for this period.  If so,
where are they located.  Is there perhaps someone who would do a lookup for
us.
