I am doing Sweatt research in Marlboro County S C.  According to what I have 
at this time, the first Swet to come to the Pee Dee Region of S C was Gadi 
Swet, who came with Gidion Gibson from Virginia.   James Swet left Marlboro 
and went to the South west part of S C.  He was a Baptist preacher.  After 
the  Americian Revolution his brother  Nathan went to GA.  Both fought in the 
war.  Middleton and Swet (Sweatt) are names that  have been in Marlboro co 
From the begining.   Pleas lets see if we cam swap info.
