Hi to all,
I am looking for information on a family of Griffins that lived in Richland
Co. SC. There was A GIDEON GRIFFIN that married PATIENCE RAWLINSON. GIDEON
GRIFFIN was a Revolutionary war soldier. I beleive that GIDEON was the
grandfather of WILLIAM GRIFFIN SR.. WILLIAM GRIFFIN SR. was br. on June 5th
1818 and married RACHEL JOHNSON about 1844 in Colleton Co. SC. 

WILLIAM had two known brothers DANIEL GRIFFIN br. 1815 and JAMES GRIFFIN br.
1826. These three brothers lived in the ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S PARRISH of
Colleton County in the 1840's and 1850's.

If any one should happen to have the census for this time I would appreciate
a look up for WILLIAM, DANIEL, AND JAMES.

I have not been able to find the father of these brothers or siblings and
would love to set my mind at easy about who they were.

I know this is a lot to ask but if some one has a marriage index for SC. a
look up would also be great for WILLIAM, DANIEL,AND JAMES.Let me say thanks
to every one in advance for any lookups of information on this family.
