I am researching several different family lines but the one that has caused the most problem is William H. Greene .  William H. Greene married Gerogia Ann B. Ioor about 1840 in Greenville at Christ Episcopal Church by the Rev. Wm. Acker. In the newspaper article he is Wm. H. Greene, Esq. of Hamburg, SC.  The Greene's that were listed in POWG did not show him but did have several Wm.'s.  Family lore says that his family was instrumental in founding Greenville but who knows.  They had two daughters.  Eloise Tucker Greene called Tucker and she married Micah Jenkins of Edisto Island.  (There is more than one MIcah Jenkins in that family.  They are my direct line.)  and Ann Louise Greene Davis who married Charles Frank Davis.  She, Charles, Georgia Ann B. Ioor Greene and Micah Jenkins are all buried in the Brunson Town Cemetery.  Does anyone, anywhere have ANY information on the Wm. H. Greene of Hamburg?  I have checked census records, newspapers and cemeteries and can find nothing!
.  Any help appreciated.  There may be some clues in the Christ Church records but they will not look up anything for me nor will they let me access the records.  Every other Episcopal church that I have contacted has been wonderful with this.  Most have put me in a room and let me go through everything and find what I could.  Suggestions!
