Defila Green, who lived in Hamilton Co., Fla. and Echols Co., Ga., possibly
as late as 1900 according to tax rolls found in Statenville, Ga. It is now
believed that Lewis Green, with whom Leander and his brother William lived,
may have been closely related. Leander d. 7/17/1916, Columbia Co., Fla,

Confederate pension record, he states he has two daughters and two sons.
The other daughter is somewhat a mystery, as the only listings found are
two census records listing Martha Green. Martha is too old to be a daughter
of Nancy, but may be related to Leander by blood. She has not been found
after the 1870 census.
