Subject: GREEN family in SC From: TheSiamese Date: April 19, 1998 Hi. I'm new to this list. I am searching for the family of my gg grandmother, Georgia GREEN. She was born in Oct 1872 or 1873 in AL. I know this from the 1880 Lee Co, AL census. According to that, both her parents were born in SC. Also, all of her grandparents were born in SC. Her father was J.J. Green (sorry, but both his name and his wife's name are only initials). He was b abt 1826, don't know what county. He was a farmer in AL. His wife was G. C. or G.E. or G.S. Green (the writing was smudged). I don't know her maiden name. She was born abt 1840. If anyone has any info on this family, please contact me. Thanks.
