Subject: Gov Thomas Smith From: Cynthia H. Porcher Date: May 22, 1999 I am posting this message for a friend, Smith: I'm trying to sort out all the Thomas Smiths of South Carolina. One of the most important in the Second Landgrave who was the son of the first Landgrave Thomas Smith, who in turn was a Governor of SC 'way back then. Another Thomas Smith married Sabina Smith, a daughter of L-2 Thomas Smith. "South Carolina Genealogies" doesn't help a whole lot, because they contain errors and corrections, not all in the same place. So, what I need is a comprehensive Descendent Chart for Thomas Smith, Governor and first Landgrave, complete with his two wives and their children and children's spouces.
