Subject: Good Hope plantation From: Derek Andrews Date: April 02, 1999 Has anyone ever heard of the Good Hope plantation? I am looking for owners from around the end of the 1700's or early 1800's. I have a reference to the Good Hope plantation belonging to a John Channing who died 27-Mar-1792 in London. In his will he gave his SC plantations to his wife, (Charlotte Perkins d. Sept-1796) to be held in trust for her by his executors Wm. Jarvis Abby and Samuel Hoyster. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
