Hello -
>From the article below it looks as if my 6th grgrandfather would be Glodes
Sotroe. I have known for awhile that Rachel Sotroe was my ancestor, but I
have never been able to find any other Sotroes until now, even in the
census.
Has anyone else come across this name? I would even be interested in
guesses! If anyone would hazard a guess, I would be most interested, even as
to what nationality. The Foremans were in the Barnwell area and later
generations there during the Civil War. My line moved to Georgia and
beyond.
This name has been a big hurdle and I appreciate any assistance/ideas
Thanks very much,
Gaila
