pg. 53 ISSAC AMYARD OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1738 Will of Isaac Amyard of Charles 
Town, South Carolina, gent., now in London , dated 26 August 1738. To friend 
Thomas Corbett of Charles Town my desk, bookcase, and books. To frioend 
Childermas Croft of Charles Town, esq , my gold watch. Gabriel Manigoult of 
Charles Town, Esq., to be my executor  in trust for my estate in Carolina 
which is to be sold and the residue to be paid in trust to my uncle Claudius 
Amyard, serjeant surgeon to His Majesty, of St. Martin in the Fields, esq. 
who is to invest it for the benefit during  life of my mother Justina Amyard 
of Aberystwyth, Wales; on her death 1/2 share is to be paid to my cousin 
Claudius Amyard, son of my said uncle, and the other 1/2 to the other 
children of my said uncle. My estate in England  to be applied to the same 
uses and my uncle Claudius Amyard to be executor thereof. Witnessed by 
Elizabeth Rimes, John Walker, Fras.Bowry, clerk to Mr. Byron in Nassau St. 
St.Ann. Proved 20 December 1739 by Claudius Amyard (PRO; PCC250/1739)
