Subject: Gilkey Creek From: Jane Hinson Date: August 14, 1999 Hi SC List, Does anyone know where Gilkey Creek is? I am researching my Hays/Hayes ancestors who were in the Union District area of SC early 1800's. I have a deed dated 1836 which mentions Gilkey Creek and another creek that I couldn't make out (could be Abdington). on the waters of the Broad River. Also looking for information on Union Church which I assume was in Union District or present day Union Co. All help appreciated. Thanks!
