Giles Norton - Lorie Norton

I am looking for information on Giles Norton b. 1794. According to the
census he was born in SC. In 1812 he is in Chaimpaign County Ohio where he
fought in the War of 1812. He married Elizabeth Williams in 1817 and in 1829
moved to Cass County Michigan. I am trying to locate his birth place and
family in SC. Anyone run across any Norton stuff? Any info would be
appreciated.
