Greetings from Florence Co., SC. I do not know of a separate German
settlement, but I do have some German/Prussian lines from those areas. Some of
the STACKLEY, KOOPMAN & WITCOFSKEY lines moved from the Charleston area to
Kingstree (Williamsburg Co) to Florence (Florence Co) in the early to mid-
1800's. Also, I think my BUCHEITS might have had Marion Co. connections prior
to Florence Co.
