  Hello Faye,

Some of the Germans that came emigrated to PA ended up in South Carolina, but
not very many. An exception to what I just said was the Summer family of the
Dutch Fork area of South Carolina.

The vast marjority of German/Swiss immigents to SC after 1750 came directly to
Charleston via ship. Over 1500 arrived from Germany in 1752 alone. Check out my
