The period of these documents from the begining to 1828 were written in
Germa and hard to read.  Salem Va.
The first German to move here was Johanness Stough March 24 1787 the
second Joseph Wagner 1788 and several more 1789.In this year we got Dr
Malve's sermon book from the parent in Knugetethercker when material
arrived here by Gottfried Stembel, Conrad Hagmeier,and others.it was
read by Stauch and Mr Shrader
In the year 1795 Stauch started to preach here on Sunday before Pentcost
the first child was born
Scharlotta Stauch was the first to be married Joseph Heid was the first
to die Elisabeth Stauch the first to be baptised.Gotfried
