ROUTON Family Cemetery G.M.D. 669. approx 1 mile south of center of
WOODBURY. Meriwether Co Ga.This cemetery is found mentioned  in
Meriwether Co Deed book.P Page 348. dated 2 April 1872.from Abner
Routon.administrator of the estate of Elizabeth ROUTON dec'd to John T.
DIXON for 15 acres off lot 64. and 13-14 acres off lot 63. 3xcept one
fourth acre containing grave yar. as best as they could locate this area
on several aps it should be  approm 1 mile south of Woodbury in the area
enclosed by Old Woodbury Rd on the Northwest, Seaboard Coastline R.R. on
the east and Cane Creek on the south

OGLETHORPE CO  Ga.
Arnold Cemetery is located in Southeastern Ga G.M.D. 230.  Drive east on
Ga St Hwy 10. approx 5 miles east of the court house in
Lexington.passing through the small community of Hoga, turn right on
last dirt rd before crossing Buffalo Creek. this dirt road crosses
Bufflao Creek shortly before leaving Highway 1o. proceed on dirt rd for
approx 2.1/2 miles pssing through intersection of anoher dirt rd on left
side, to first wood frame house on right past this intersection.
proceed on foot approx 1/2 mile eastwardly into the woods until locating
a large area covered by growth ,where 5 graves are situated on the
norther side of this area identified as Lexington Ga. n3345-w 8300/7.5
by  geoloical survey 1971. an unimproved road can be seen leading to the
area of this abandoned homesite
of the 5 graves 3  are very sunken  the other two are only slightly
sunken. this  cemetery was cited in the will of Susannah ARNOLD recorded
in Oglethorpe Co  Will book d pages 347 348 . dated May 28 1851 recorded
6 Dec 1856
Desire my body be decently interred in the family grave yard
