Hello South Carolina researchers,

The Berkeley and Georgetown County, SCGenWeb sites are up for
adoption. John Simons, "The Huguenot," did a great job getting the pages
set up and going, but he can not longer take care of them. (I have been
tending to them in his absence, but since he can't take them back on, a
new coordinator needs to be found.) If you are interested in either
county, let me know. Tell what you would like to do with the county
pages and what personal interest you have in the counties. John also
began a set of pages that he called Old Berkeley and Craven Counties.
Those pages could come as a package sort of deal with Berkeley.

Just go to http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/3837/ to find out
more about what SCGenWeb county coordinators need to know about
sponsoring a county page. You can also link to some of the other
counties from there, to see what it's all about.

Thanks,
Cindy Parker
SCGenWeb Assistant State Coordinator
