I've said so many good things about the new Charleston Co. Library, that
people are going to think I'm on the payroll!  I really am not, but I
can't say enough about the resources there.

For anyone interested, there will be a program at the Library on
Saturday, May 15 from 10am to l pm called "Tracing Your Roots." The
speaker is Brent Holcom, editor and publisher of the SC Magazine of
Ancestral Research.

The program is free, but you must register by calling (803)805-6956. 

I have suggested and the library has agreed to begin a voluntary index
of those doing genealogical research and the names they are researching.
That may help us to get in contact with others researching the same
families.
