Esq., dwelling in the Parish of ST. Pet ers Port Guernsey, Captain of a company in Lt. General Parson's Regiment of Invalids now quartered in Guernsey, daated 22 January 1762. To my wife Eleanor Delegal living in Phillips Bluff in South Carolina my plantation there which I have already gifted to her, my son Edward, and my daughter Catherine, wife of Mr. Hugh Campbell of South Carolina, mariner. To my eldest son Philip Delegal of Little Ageehee, Georgia, gent., L 200 stock, watch, swords,, etc., and, if he is dead, to his children. To my son s George and Edward Delegal dwelling in Georgia, planters the lands now in hands of my eldest son Philip, consisting of 500 acres at Little Ageehee, Georgia, granted to me and my wife Eleanor. To my daughter Margaret, wife of (Blank) of South Carolina, planter, L 100 stock. To my youngest daughter Sophia , some time since living with her mother, L 100 stock. To the poor of St. Peter's Port 10 shillings. My goods and effects to be sold and diovided : 1/4 to my wife 1/2 to my oldest son Philip, and 1/4 amongst my other six children. Executors my wife and my son Philip. Trustees, my friend Sir John Milne, Lt. Governor of Guernsey, and Elisha Tupper of the same. Witnessed Andre Migault, George Hawley., and Edward Knight. Proved 14 September 1764 by Abraham Le Mesurier, attorney for Eleanor and Philip Delegal now residing in Georgia.
