William Gill, son of and heir of Captain  John Gill, mariner, of Bridge Town, 
Barbados, deceased, now of London, gent., dated 12 February 1739/40. To my 
dear sister, Frances Gill , now of London, all the lands my father bought  of 
Nathaniel Snow, doctor , up the River near Charles Town, South Carolina, and 
all my real and personal estate to which I am entitled by the will of my late 
father in Barbados, South Carolina, and elsewhere. The said Frances Gill to 
be sole executrix. Witnessed John Eaglesfield, Ann Eaglesfield, his wife, and 
Catherine Payne. Proved 10 August 1743  by  Frances  Gill. (PRO: PCC262/1743)
