Hello!
	I am looking for information about my Gaines family.  They were originally
From SC, though I don't have any specifics on location and am not having much
luck looking there.  
	My grandfather WILBUR LEE GAINES was born in 1923 in Wichita, KS.  He had two
siblings:  Earline Gaines and Charles Gaines, Jr.
	Their father was CHARLES AUSTIN GAINES b. May 15, 1880 in LaCygne, KS.  He
married in 1905 to Gertrude Elizabeth MARTIN.  He died in Winfield, KS in
1963. 
	Charles' father was WILLIAM A. GAINES b. in SC.  He shows up in voter records
for 1855 and 1856 (in Kansas' 19th district) , but that is all I have been
able to find of him. 
	I am hoping that someone else out there is also looking for someone in this
family and can perhaps shed some light on where the family came from before
their generations in KS.  Any ideas of some records in Kansas that might show
William Gaines' original home?
