Some of my big questions--

Was there a child Hannah Frink born
after Jabez in South Carolina? Is there a marriage record anywhere for
Ephraim? Name of wife? If it was Hannah, what was her last name?Names of
children? I have a record showing that Hannah Frink was a legatee of Thomas
and Charlotte Matthews in a will signed December 23, 1766. Hannah Franks was
listed as a spinster and received an annuity of 50 pounds yearly from Thomas
Matthews "for and during the term she shall live with my dearly beloved wife
Charlotte." Dated 1767. Signed Hannah Frink. Although the will says Hannah
Franks, my records indicate that it was signed by Hannah Frink. Was this
Ephraim's widow? We don't have a death date for him, only an indication that
he died before 1768. But this woman was listed as a spinster--was that term
ever applied to a widow? If not, was this Jabez's younger sister?

Any possiblity that Ruth Pinckney was actually born Ann Pinckney and changed
her name after her mother, Ruth, died? This is Katharine B's
supposition. Everybody would like to find that Pinckney marriage record.
There is also the Ruth Pinckney Brown possibility, unproved, too.
