Hi all,
My 6th GGF had 5 "other free persons" living in his household as of the 1790 
census. Can anyone tell me if he had to post a bond or other record for those 
free persons, each year? Its my understanding that, each year, he would have 
to be accountable for these free persons and make judgments on whether they 
stayed free. He lived in Abbeville Co..

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
