I don't know about the name HESTER but there are quite a few FRANKLINs in
Jefferson Co., AL. Some of them married into some of my Jefferson Co.
families.
Here are some of the names I have:

Winney b about 1839 m Elias Glenn
I do have one HESTER in my file. Louise Smithwick married a Mr. Hester.
If you would like more info on any of these, let me know and I will check
and see what I have.
