JACOB FORTENBERRY, JR. and ELIZABETH {EMILY} EARLENE HIX were my GGG
Grandparents. Jacob was born in 1809/10 in Lancaster Co., S.C. and married
Elizabeth Hix on Oct. 15, 1828. I think Elizabeth was born in 1818/19 in
Laurence Co., Miss. They may have married in Miss. They had 6 children:
1. CECILA ANN--{my GG Grandmother}--born in 1836 in MIss. and married Henry
B. Miller and Redden H. Johnson
2. REBECCA --marr. William Butler
3. MARY JANE FORTENBERRY--married William T. Mann
4. THOMAS EUELL--married Emma Lee Herron
5. JAMES A.
6. WILLIAM R.
    JACOB FORTENBERRY, JR.'s parents were: JACOB FORTENBERRY, SR. and CELIA
BERRY. Jacob was born abt. 1770 in Lancaster Co., S.C. and married CELIA
BERRY there, I think. Their children were:
1. WILLIAM FORTENBERRY--born abt. 1790 in S.C.
2. JOHN FORTENBERRY--born abt. 1893 in S.C.-married Mary Taylor
3. JOSEPH FORTENBERRY--born abt. 1795 in S.C.
4. ELIZABETH FORTENBERRY--born abt. 1796 in S.C.--married John Myers on
March 8, 1823 in Laurence Co., MIss.
5. ISAAC FORTENBERRY--born 1798 in Lancaster Co., S.C. married Blanche
Shivers
6. SARAH FORTENBERRY--born 1800-married William Harvey
7. FRANCIS FORTENBERRY--born 1805 and married Asa Myers
8. JAMES TALLEY FORTENBERRY--born 1808 in SC
9. JACOB FORTENBERRY, JR. --born 1810 in S.C. and married Elizabeth Hix in
Laurence Co., MIss.
    I am trying to find the parents and siblings of CELIA BERRY or any of
the FORTENBERRY family. I know nothing much about CELIA BERRY and would like
to find her family.
