I am searching for info about Charles Fortenberry and family. This family 
was from Spartanburg, SC and moved to Cherokee Co., AL. in 1846. In the 1840 
Spartanburg census there is a Charles Fortenberry with 3 males under 5, 1 
male 20-30,and 1 female 20-30. In 1860 Charles is in Cherokee Co., AL. with 
wife Alsey who was born in SC and 5 children, three of whom were born in SC. 
Does anyone have any info about Alsey, the family of Charles, or any other 
Fortenberry info? I will galdly share the info I have.
