My ggg grandfather was James B. FLOYD born in 1820 in SC-possibly Union
CO.  He was married to Elizabeth A. (Betsy) HOLCOMB.  Betsy was born in
SC or TN.  

Betsy's parents were Moses HOLCOMB born in 1802 in SC and Mary LIVELY
born in 1803 in SC.  I assume they both died in NE Alabama.  

Moses Holcomb's father was Burrell HOLCOMB.

James B. Floyd's father was Samuel Floyd of SC and mother Mary of SC.  

This is all I have on this family.  Mary LIVELY may have been a Cherokee
Indian.
