To those of you who have SC ancestors who moved to Florida prior to statehood, I would like you to 
be aware of the Florida Pioneer Descendant Certificates awarded by The Florida State Genealogical 
Society, Inc.  You may go to our web page   and obtain information, view 
a list of the pioneers already established and download a request for a packet.  It is probably 
too late to get your paperwork in for this year.  Membership in the society is a requirement to 
have your packet reviewed and receive a certificate.

I am surprised to see that no certificates have been awarded on the Yonge family.  Wish someone 
would establish them.
