I am searching for a connection to the following people They were
involved in a lot of
Court of Pleas cases in the late 1700's and early 1800's in York County,
SC

Alexander FAIRES  b 1758
his wife Elizabeth STRAIN  b unknown

Samuel BROWN  b ? d 1793
his wife ? was said to be sister to Elizabeth Strain

Court records state that
 Katherine (or Catherine) McFARLAN was the Mother to Elizabeth STRAIN
and Samuel BROWNS wife.

Other Court records show a
John McFARLAN
and
Catherine McFARLAN  involved in a guardianship battle over Samuel
BROWN's two children after his death.
His Children were:
Elizabeth Strain BROWN
and  Catherine McFarlan BROWN

If anyone could shed some light on the STRAIN's McFARLAN's and BROWN's I
would be very grateful.
