According to an Obituary in the Southern Christian Advocate, Elizabeth
Ritter Scott died in Autauga county AL in 1848.  She was born in 1760 in
Wayne county NC the daughter of Hannah (Bradbury) and Moses Ritter.  She
lived for 22 years in Sumter District SC.

According to Byrd family history/tradition she was the mother of Hannah
Scott wife of Redden Byrd of Darlington District SC.  Would like to
documentation as to who was Elizabeth's husband and children.  Believe that
George G. Scott of Autauga County AL was either a son or step son.  He
witnessed a deed for her in Sumter District SC and was administrator of her
estate in AL.  Believe that Lott Scott of AL and SC may have been a son.
Know that she had a granddaughter Clarkey Scott, because while living in SC
Elizabeth deed Clarkey a slave.

Is anyone able to help with documentation of Elizabeth's life?
