I am seeking information on Elijah MEADOR, whom I believe to be my gg
granddad, and who is reported on the 1850 and 1860 Smith Co., Texas
censuses as born in SC, and aged at 30 in 1850 and 44 in 1860. (He may
have aged more than a year at a time?)

Additionally, there are other Meadors in the Smith Co. censuses in
Texas, and they may be related. His possible mother is Sarah MEADOR, 65
in 1860 and born in SC. Brothers may be R.E. MEADOR, 48 in 1860 and born
in SC, and Thomas (Thenias?) MEADOR, 37 and born in SC.

Elijah's daughter, if she is the same Nancy Ann MEADOR I believe her to
be, was born in 1860 and went on to marry, have 14 children, and died in
1904 at 44. 

I would appreciate any help on these folks, and am sure someone has the
answer!
