Hi Jacob,
There is a book " Roster of South Carolina Patriots in the American
Revolution" by Bobby Gilmer Moss. In this book I find:
1.Hardwick, William - He enlisted in the sixth regiment on 6 March 1776 as
a sergeant. He was discharged on 1 June, 1777. On 20 February, 1779, he
enlisted in the Third Regiment under Capt. Felix Warley. N.A. 246; N.A. 853
2. Hardwick, William - He served as a lieutenant under Capt. Patrick
McGriff and was a captain during 1780 and 1781. He was dead prior to August
1785. A.A.3317; Y24
Hope this helps. I am still looking for any info on the YOUNGs. Any
information appreciated.
Regards, Betty
