I found a note that mentions what a thorough scholar one of my ancestors was
while attending "Harmony College", Sumter Co., then Salisbury.  Prof.
Morgan, Pres.  Does anyone know anything about a Harmony College that might
have been in Sumter abt. 1850?  What does Salisbury have to do with Sumter?
Is that an old name of that area?  I have nothing on theearly  history of
that area.  Thanks.
