Hi All,
I am new to this list.  I am trying to find any information about my gg
grandfather E. C. MARTIN.  I found him in the census showing that he was
born in S.C.  I know he lived in Winn, LA in 1860 with his wife (Martha)
and he later moved to Grayson, Co., Texas.  His daughter Mary Alice
MARTIN marrried Yancy King David HALL in Annona, Red River Co., Texas in
1882. E. C. was a Baptist Preacher in the 1860 census.  The family says
he went to Howards College in AL. Could someone give me and idea of
where to look in South Carolina for him.
