My ancestors in the DYSON line are listed below.  James Dyson acquired land 
through land grants and purchases in the 1760s.  I do not know where he lived 
prior to that time.  He settled in Abbeville Cty SC (now Newberry Cty).  
Later, Thomas Jefferson Dyson moved across the Saluda River to Edgefield Cty 
SC (now Greenwood Cty) near Ninety Six, SC.
