George Dysart arrived in South Carolina in 1716 per
shipping records. I found a listing on Ancestry.com
for the marriage of George Dysart to Hannah Martin on
4 May 1732 at St. Thomas Parish, South Carolina. I'd
like to get a copy of this record. Does anyone know
where St. Thomas Parish may be?? The family in
Northern Ireland is Presbyterian and CofI.

St Thomas Parish is in what is now the Berkeley Co, Goose Creek area. I have
Dysarts that were in NC and TN == just a few of them, but they may be from
the same line. They may be descended from the SC line as migration of
settlers moved to the backcountry when the coastline became crowded. Is
anyone else out there researching Dysart, Ewing, or Bivens?
