I am a direct descendant of  Dennis  Driskell who married  Hannah Holden
in County Cork, Ireland.  Dennis is son of William Driskell, and
grandson of Florence Driskell.  The
family came to America inthe 1680s, settling in Somerset Co., MD.  The
family lived in Worchester, MD., there owning quite a bit of land.
After the Revolutionary War the family began to spread out in America,
some going into South Carolina and others south to Georgia, (my line)
some into Kentuckey, Tennessee, Alabama, and on into Texas.  Some across
the Ohio Valley into Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, Missouri, and some even
further west inti Oregon. Some names I have connected with are: Moses
Driskell Sr.,
William B. Driskell Sr., Moses Driskell Jr., Dennis Driskell
(03/21/1806),Elget Archibald Driskell (09/09/1837), and John Newton
Driskell (08/08/1869 GA.)
I have almost 1800 entries in my data base, living and deceased. MANY
