Hi!
I too am interested. I am the great-great-great-granddaughter of Jeremiah
POLSTON. I would like the name of his first wife, etc. My line from him is
Jerry (his wife, my great-great-grandmother was Martha __), Luther (his wife
was my greatgrandmother Arie DRIGGERS), Thomas Jefferson, James (originally
Jenkins) Jefferson POLSTON, me.
Jerry and Martha are buried in Lucas Cemetery in Clio. Arie Driggers is
buried in Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville. I believe we will find
Jeremiah's father to be John and the POLSTON line is suppose to go back to
VA, where there was suppose to have been a name change.
   Would love to exchange information.
   Gwen Stuart nee POLSTON

I am looking for information on LAURA DRIGGERS who was 10years old on the
1880
census in Marlboro Cty S C, she was living in the household of JEREMIAH
POLSON, her grand father. They lived in the HEBRON Township near Shadrach
or
Shade JOHN. She later married Joe JOHN. Son of Shadrach.

JEREMIAH POLSON died at age 106 in 1903. LAURA DRIGGERS died in July or
August 1898 after giving birth to Mamie John.

Laura's husband Joseph Henry or Henry Joseph JOHN killed himself April, 8,
1929 in McFarland N C. He served in War Between the States.

Laura's 1st child was Walter Johns. Who were her parents/
brothers?sisters?

Patsy
