Digest Problems with AOL - Steve Coker

I'm confident that this is an AOL anomaly and is not a problem with the SCRoots
digests. Maybe the AOL email reader doesn't handle MIME messages as well as
Netscape or Microsoft or some other email programs handle them.
Possibly the AOL email program is treating the messages as attachments and
requires you to download them as if they were files? My Netscape Messenger
email program allows me to either view the messages compiled into the digest in
the body of the digest message or, with the click of a switch, it will display
each compile message as a separate attached file.

I used AOL many years ago before they added Internet functions. I don't use or
recommend AOL for Internet Service. So, you will have to seek help on this from
your AOL technical support staff. Or perhaps other forum readers who do use AOL
can help you figure out this anomaly. Please don't discuss this further in the
forum. But, after your find the correct, definitive answer, feel free to post a
one-time explanation of the problem and solution for all our AOL subscribers to
see.
