Is anyone researching this surname?
I bought a book at a sale which includes several families and I would
like to share.If no one claims this family, I will post another.I am not
researching any of the ones in this book and don't want to waste all the
good info.
Rev.Joshua Deweese b.3 May 1742, Kent County, Delaware. He and his
brothers, Cornelius and Samuel served in Capt. Richard Dalliner's
company during the Revolution.
Joshua, his wife, Elizabeth, his brother, John and their families moved
to Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Joshua died 1791.Anything sound
familiar?
