Hello all,
	In my recent research trip to SC I learned more about Henry,James R.
and Gower Dennis all known to be bros. of Autauga Co.,Al and Sumter
Co.,SC.
A Henry Dennis seems to be the forebearer of this line even tho I have
no proof of that at this time.Also the Richard H. and Richard G. I spoke
of eariler seems to be Richard Gower Dennis who I have records of
suppling Rev. War troups with food.I also have records of land 
sales being dispersed to  Richard H.Dennis,Henry Dennis,Gower
Dennis,James R.Dennis,Francis Dennis,Josiah C. Dennis and William Dennis
of the District and State aforesaid and John Dennis of the Mississippi
Territory that appears to come from th estate of Henry Dennis and was
witnessed by Richard Gower Dennis. I also have a document for power of
attorney from John Dennis of Holmes Co.,Ms 1843 to Gower Dennis of
Autauga Co.,Al in the matter of the will of Richard H. Dennis of Sumter
Co.,SC.I can find no trace of a will or estate papers of Henry or
Richard Gower or Richard H.Dennis even thou there should be such listd
I also lose track of the Francis Dennis(sex unknown)and Josiah C. and
William (too many too be certain of).
Other facts are Mary W. Muldrow deeded a slave to her grandson William
Lawerence Dennis,his mother was Adeline Elizabth Muldrow Denis,
w. of Dr. John E. Dennis.Lawerence Dennis was's another early settler of
SC.I am interested in ANY early info on Dennis's in SC 
or posssible connection of these to earilier states.I will be posting
info to the apppropiate county archives on genweb.
