I am researching my GGGrandmother, Permelia Deal b.1822 in Laurens Co. SC. 
She married Caleb Hope (b. 1819 in NC)sometime in 1843/44.  Their born child 
was born in TN. I don't know the state or county they were married 
in....possibly,TN, NC,SC.GA. I need proof of the marriage to connect with the 
Lamarcus Deal/ Nancy Canant family.     I believe that Caleb might be a son 
of John Hope and Peggy Houston from Cabarrus NC but I have not located a 
family page.  I do need help making connections on both these families...
