Joseph Deal was my GGG-Grandfather. He received a land grant from the Crown
and  settled in the Bahamas in 1789. Family member's have told me that he came
From the Carolina's. His wife's name may have been Elizabeth and it's possible
that he had a brother named John that accompanied him to the island's.
Variation's of our surname are Dill/Diehl/Deel/Dalzeel

Can anyone provide information regarding my ancestor.
