I'm looking for Edward Dawson who is shown on the 1880 Fed. census as 26
years old and  living at 14 Vernon St. Charleston with his wife, Mary,
22 and daughter, Annie, 3.  It shows that he and his wife & child were
all born in Charleston, SC; but his parents both came from Ireland and
his wife's from Ireland and Italy.  In the 1870 census, he would have
been 16.  There is no trace of him.  Without knowing his father's name,
I can't look for him.  Does anyone recognize this family or have any
idea how I can trace them?
