There is also a lady ...Rachel Davis...38 years of age on the 1850
census..maybe
a sister to Robert C. or Daniel David
Davis or both, if indeed these 2 gentlemen were brothers.

On the Oburg Co Courthouse wall there is a plaque dedicated to the area
soldiers who did not survive the war...4 Davis names appear....Orren,
Jeff,Robert & Asbury Davis...the Asbury Davis' that I know of did survive.
There are several common names between the two families, Henry/Henry,
William/Willie, Morgan Asbury/Asbury...
but of course that is just what it is...nothing more, nothing less.
I'm new to the genealogy hobby (addiction ?)
Thanks again for your time & patience....any help/encourgement with this is
greatly appreciated.....thanks Rick
