Subject: Davis in Fairfield County From: vriddle Date: December 30, 2000 I have been looking for information on Fairfield County Davis family for some time. My great grandfather was Ruben (spelling?) Davis. I have been told that he lived at one time in Fairfield County. He spent most of his adult life in Newberry County and is buried with his wife, Marian Dubard Senn Davis in Newberry, SC. I am told that he was Irish and both of his parents were Irish.I see where someone else is researching the Davis family in Fairfield Cty. If you come across these names, I would appreciate hearing from you.
