By "inheriting" XVII Colonial Dames papers, do you mean that the person
who "inherited" them can complete the short form rather than the long
one??????? My cousin could also use the short form if she and I were
llineal from a common ancestor. The Dames sell papers for a nominal fee
of those persons who have stated it's okay for their papers to be
released. [I've had an experience in only one case where I was unable to
obtain a copy of any one's papers for which I was willing to pay!]
