I am looking for any information that could lead me to the parents of Daniel C. Walker. It is believed he was born in South Carolina. He was married to Elisabeth Keaton in Lebanon, Wilson County, TN and moved to Waynesboro, Wayne County, TN where he was until at least 1870. That is the last census info we have on him and assume he either died or moved away with one of his children of his second marriage to Annie Parsley. They were married in Wayne Co. TN. That group of children must have moved because I cannot seem to follow them after Wayne County. All together with the two wives Daniel had at least 21 children that we can document. Always a possibility for more I suppose. I have a strong suspicion that one of his sisters names was Margaret Walker that married Zachariah Keaton. I can tie these two families together on paper but no proof as to their kinship. I hope this is enough information for you to find a possible set of parents for Daniel. I has had me on my toes foreve!
r! In addition, I suspect that he "may" have been born in Greenville but with not a lot of certainty.
